學(xué)術(shù)情況簡介：

劉發(fā)旺教授任職于澳大利亞昆士蘭科技大學(xué)（Queensland University of Technology，Australia）數(shù)學(xué)科學(xué)學(xué)院，博士生導(dǎo)師， 分數(shù)階微分方程數(shù)值方法團隊的學(xué)科帶頭人，國際認可的計算數(shù)學(xué)專家。 他是廈門大學(xué)一級教授，福州大學(xué)客座教授，國內(nèi)最早從事分數(shù)階微分方程數(shù)值方法研究的學(xué)者。  在求解分數(shù)階偏微分方程的數(shù)值方法和理論分析領(lǐng)域取得了出色的研究成果。 在第五屆國際分數(shù)階微積分及其應(yīng)用大會上獲得Mittag-Leffler分數(shù)階微分及其應(yīng)用杰出成就獎。 他系統(tǒng)地提出了分數(shù)階偏微分方程的新的數(shù)值方法，并將之應(yīng)用于環(huán)境科學(xué)、醫(yī)學(xué)、生物、復(fù)雜流體和 圖像處理等各個領(lǐng)域。 劉發(fā)旺教授已發(fā)表300多篇學(xué)術(shù)論文，主持多項澳大利亞國家自然科學(xué)基金，多次獲得澳大利亞昆士蘭科技大學(xué)杰出成就獎，并擔(dān)任多個國際著名期刊的編委和分數(shù)階專刊主編。 近幾年， 劉發(fā)旺教授已接收和培養(yǎng)三十多名來自中國的訪問學(xué)者和聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)博士生， 為中國的分數(shù)階發(fā)展做出突出的貢獻。2014-2019年均被列入國際高引用率科學(xué)家。
