依據(jù)長沙理工大學(xué)與美國內(nèi)華達(dá)大學(xué)拉斯維加斯分銷簽署的電氣中外合作辦學(xué)項目合作協(xié)議，合作方邀請我方人員進(jìn)行為期6天的訪問交流，此次訪問的目的是讓項目管理人員了解UNLV的辦學(xué)定位、人才培養(yǎng)模式以及教學(xué)管理制度，并與UNLV在工學(xué)院教職員工討論中外合作辦學(xué)項目的執(zhí)行，教學(xué)安排，項目合作、師資選派以及學(xué)生交換生項目。

2.會議內(nèi)容:美方代表Jaekeun Cho介紹UNLV工程學(xué)院的工作人員和教職員工及學(xué)院辦學(xué)定位、人才培養(yǎng)模式與教學(xué)管理制度。余志介紹長沙理工大學(xué)的基本情況和中外合作辦學(xué)項目的辦學(xué)情況和取得成績。

下午：參觀 UNLV 校園相關(guān)專業(yè)實驗室。

10月31日

上午：根據(jù)簽署的協(xié)議,雙方討論與UNLV-CSUST電氣工程項目的有關(guān)教學(xué)計劃課程內(nèi)容安排、項目學(xué)生過去的反饋及成績。

下午: 參觀UNLV學(xué)生工作室、學(xué)生管理制度，并與UNLV 教職員工探討學(xué)習(xí)如何更有效的管理學(xué)生，發(fā)掘?qū)W生潛力，提高學(xué)生實踐能力。

11月1 日

上午:Jaekeun Cho介紹UNLV 工程體驗學(xué)習(xí) (EIP)項目，了解如何開發(fā)和管理EIP 項目，討論兩所機構(gòu)之間的合作，包括現(xiàn)有和未來的聯(lián)合項目、選派師資培訓(xùn)、學(xué)生交換生項目

下午:參觀工學(xué)院辦公室和EIP課堂，學(xué)習(xí) EIP 項目管理經(jīng)驗

11月2日

上午：與Jaekeun Cho討論美方教師在長沙理工大學(xué)的教學(xué)計劃、住宿計劃、交通計劃、2024年春季開學(xué)典禮

Morning: 1. Teachers' representatives from   Changsha University of Science and Technology visited the University of   Nevada Las Vegas in the United States
  2. Meeting content: Jaekeun Cho, the US representative, will introduce the   staff and teaching staff of UNLV, its orientation, talents training mode and   teaching management system. Yu Zhi will introduce Changsha University of   Science and Technology, and the status and achievements of Sino-foreign education   program.

Afternoon: Visit UNLV campus and some   professional laboratories.

October  31

Morning: According to the signed   agreement, the two sides will discuss the arrangement of teaching plan and course   content of electrical engineering program between UNLV-CSUST , the feedback   and achievements of the program students in the past.

Afternoon: Visit UNLV student studio,   student management system, and discuss with UNLV faculty and staff how to   manage students more effectively, explore their potential, and improve their   practical ability.

November 1

Morning: Jaekeun Cho will introduce the   UNLV Engineering Experiential Learning (EIP) program, help us to learn how to   develop and manage EIP programs, and discuss the collaboration between the   two institutions, including existing and future joint programs, teacher training,   student exchange programs, and other programs.

Afternoon: Visit the Engineering office and EIP classroom to learn about   EIP project management experience.

November 2

Morning: Discuss with Jaekeun Cho the   teaching plan, accommodation plan, transportation plan for American teachers   at Changsha University of Science and Technology, and the spring semester   2024 opening ceremony.
