為增進中國人民與世界各國人民的相互了解和友誼，促進中國與世界各國在各領(lǐng)域的交流與合作，中國政府設(shè)立獎學(xué)金，資助世界各國優(yōu)秀學(xué)生、教師、學(xué)者到中國的大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)或開展研究。長沙理工大學(xué)是承擔(dān)中國政府獎學(xué)金生培養(yǎng)任務(wù)的高校之一。目前我校參與的自主招生項目有：支持地方獎學(xué)金項目。

注：我校大部分專業(yè)使用漢語授課，部分專業(yè)可使用英文授課。凡漢語授課的獎學(xué)金生如漢語水平未達到入專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)要求者，來華后須先進行1年的漢語補習(xí)，考試合格后方可入專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)。
2.獎學(xué)金涵蓋的內(nèi)容
獎學(xué)金涵蓋注冊費、學(xué)費、實驗費、實習(xí)費、住宿費、生活費、來華留學(xué)生綜合醫(yī)療保險費。生活費標(biāo)準為碩士研究生3000元人民幣/月，博士研究生3500元人民幣/月。
3.申請人資格
?非中國籍公民，且身體健康
?非在華學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生（留華畢業(yè)生畢業(yè)年限須超過一學(xué)年）
?學(xué)歷和年齡要求：
來華攻讀碩士學(xué)位者，須具有學(xué)士學(xué)位，年齡不超過35周歲
來華攻讀博士學(xué)位者，須具有碩士學(xué)位，年齡不超過40周歲

?登錄系統(tǒng)后，請閱讀“在線申請指南”，并按照步驟進行操作；
?點擊“下一步”按鈕，選擇申請“中國政府獎學(xué)金”；
?點擊“下一步”按鈕，按要求填寫個人信息。請注意“機構(gòu)代碼”是在線申請過程中關(guān)鍵的部分之一，它位于“個人資料”下面的第一欄空白處，長沙理工大學(xué)的機構(gòu)代碼是10536。請確保填寫正確，否則您將無法繼續(xù)在線申請；

?錄取后，長沙理工大學(xué)在http://m.bqcyf.com/pub/gjjl/網(wǎng)站上公布獎學(xué)金獲獎學(xué)生名，通過郵件通知獎學(xué)金獲得者本人，并在每年6月底前寄發(fā)《錄取通知書》和《簽證申請表》（JW201）。

?經(jīng)過公證的最高學(xué)歷證明、畢業(yè)證書或?qū)W位證書的復(fù)印件。如申請人為在校學(xué)生或已就業(yè)，需另外提交本人就讀學(xué)校出具的在學(xué)證明或就業(yè)單位出具的在職證明。中、英文以外文本需附經(jīng)公證的中文或英文的譯本；
?申請攻讀碩士學(xué)位者，須提供經(jīng)過公證的大學(xué)階段課程成績單；申請攻讀博士學(xué)位者，須提供經(jīng)過公證的碩士階段課程成績單。中、英文以外文本需附經(jīng)公證的中文或英文的譯本；

Application Instruction for CSC Scholarship, Changsha University of Science & Technology
In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. Changsha University of Science & Technology (CSUST) is one of the universities designated by the China Scholarship Council to receive sponsored foreign students, offering a wide variety of academic programs in Education, Economics, Science, Engineering, Legal Studies, Management, Literature, Philosophy, Fine Arts, etc. for scholarship recipients at Chinese University’s Independent Enrollment Program level.
1. Scholarship Categories & Study Duration
?Scholarship for master’s degree programs for 3 academic years
? Scholarship for doctoral degree programs for 3 academic years
Note: The instruction language is mainly Chinese. Applicants are required to take one-year Chinese language course prior to the academic study if their Chinese is not qualified enough for the program study. Only by passing the examinations after the Chinese language course, can they start their academic studies. English-taught program are also available, please check it on CSC website.
2. Scholarship Coverage & Criteria
Scholarship holders are exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, laboratory experiment fee, internship fee, fee for accommodation on campus, and are provided with Comprehensive Medical Insurance for International Students in China.
Note:Monthly living allowance is granted to the students through the host institution at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):
- Master’s degree students: CNY 3,000 Yuan
- Doctoral degree students: CNY 3,500 Yuan
3.Scholarship Eligibility
? Non-Chinese citizen in good health
? Not a student in any Chinese universities or schools at the time of application
? Education background and age limit
—Applicants for master’s degree program scholarship must have bachelor’s degree, under the age of 35.
—Applicants for doctoral degree program scholarship must have master’s degree, under the age of 40 years.
? Not sponsored by any other kind of scholarship.

5. Application & Recruitment Procedures
? Log on to the official website http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register , register for username and password before logging into the system.
? Finish the online application. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD CHOOSE AND MARCH THE AGENCY NO. OF CSUST, i.e. 10536.
? Preview the application form after finishing it and then submit it online.
? Download the finished application form by clicking the button “DOWNLOAD APPLICATION” and print it out for two copies.
? Prepare other supporting documents as required and mail the full package of application documents to Office of Student Affairs, International College, Changsha University of Science & Technology.
? CSUST organizes expert panel to appraise the documents and make a proposed list of applicants, and then reports to Hunan Provincial Education Committee and China Scholarship Council for final appraisal and approval.
? Getting the approval, CSUST announces the result at the website ofhttp://m.bqcyf.com/pub/gjjl/ and informs the successful applicants by the phone number and email address in the application. Please don’t use gmail.
? CSUST posts Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW201) to the successful applicants directly by July.

Application Documents for Chinese-taught Programs
? Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship;
? Photocopies of attained highest diploma, graduation certificate or diploma certificate. University students or employed applicants should provide proof of studying or employment. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;
? Photocopies of the previous academic transcripts. Applicants for doctoral degree program scholarship need to provide photocopies of their master study transcripts. Applicants for master’s degree program scholarship need to provide photocopies of their undergraduate transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translation versions in Chinese or English;
? Study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words);
? Two recommendation letters in Chinese or English from professors or associate professors. Recommendation letters should have the signatures of professors or associate professors);
? CD of works. Applicants for fine arts must submit a CD of their own works (including two sketches, two color paintings and two other works);
? Photocopy of HSK certificate or other certificates of Chinese proficiency (if any);
? Published academic papers or other academic achievements (original or photocopy if any);
? Photocopy of the applicant’s passport;
? Photocopy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (The applicant keeps the original for future visa application). The form issued by Chinese quarantine authority can be downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Physical Examination Record for Foreigner. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. The medical examination results will be valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to take this factor into consideration as they plan to take the medical examination.
