秦偉，男，1987年生，博士，中共黨員，副教授，碩士研究生導師。2016年6月畢業(yè)于華東師范大學理工學院物理學系，獲材料與光電子專業(yè)理學博士學位；2016年7月至2018年9月在中山大學材料科學與工程學院任特聘副研究員；2018年9月加入長沙理工大學材料科學與工程學院。
教學方面主要承擔本科生《固體物理》， 《電池管理與控制》， 《新能源材料與器件專業(yè)基礎實驗》以及《生產(chǎn)實習》等課程教學任務。科研方面，主要從事電化學儲能學科領域相關科研工作，研究方向為納米材料的可控制備及其在能源存儲轉(zhuǎn)換中的應用，高性能鋰/鈉/鉀離子電池電極材料的設計及制備，超級電容器電極材料制備，電解液優(yōu)化等。截至目前，以第一作者、通訊作者在Journal of Materials Chemistry A，ACS Applied Materials& Interfaces, Journal of Power Sources，Journal of alloys and compounds等期刊發(fā)表署名文章多篇（截止2025年2月，谷歌學術(shù)總引用>3000次，H指數(shù)31）。
近些年主持國家自然科學基金青年項目（51702371），湖南省自然科學基金面上項目（2023JJ30034），湖南省自然科學基金青年項目（2020JJ5580），湖南省教育廳優(yōu)秀青年項目（23B0295），湖南省教育廳一般項目（18C0242）及橫向課題等多項。
